I have always had a hard time finding balance in my life. When the kids were younger and I was working, I would rush rush rush through each day, with so many things on my schedule I didn't ever think I would ever catch up. I'd finish one thing so I could hurry on to the next, sometimes not even thinking about what it was.
Today, I am at the other end of the spectrum, going no where fast. In fact I have to force myself to get up and leave the house.... The hustle bustle of the traffic and rude drivers out there make me nuts. We rarely to go out to dinner because of the no smoking laws and I refuse to go along with it and deny myself of my habit. We don't go much of anywhere as a couple, all because of my not wanting to leave the house. "Honey" goes to play golf and is much more social than I am and I don't complain. I know he would like me to go more, but I can't seem to whip up any "want to"......
I know I need to find some balance in this and will just have to apply myself and come up with some answers. The only way I know to start is to, "Just Do It" and starting with baby steps! Working on this One Day At a Time. The old saying that "life is a journey not a destination" fits here. The journey is what’s important and I wonder how much of it I'm missing......
Peace on the journey, SunnyGirl

Balance isn't an easy thing for an Aires. Our opposite sign and supposedly compatible one Libra has what we don't have. Not that I believe everything the Zodiac signs tell me, but do see a lot of the characteristics they portray of me.
I was always told to think of pie and slice it up and giving equal parts to all the areas in your life. i.e. work, play, family, recreation, meditation, etc.
There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in a day and yet I dont' work and in the past, I always used to make the hours go away, so I guess I am doing something right. If not right, at least better.
Maybe I am just getting complacent in my old age.

I am Aquarius: Their traits are Friendly, Humanitarian, Honest, Loyal, Contrary, Perverse, Unpredictable, Unemotional and Detached... to name a few. I have never been into Astrology, don't read my forecast in the paper daily, in fact I am very skeptical about the whole thing.
I have been trying to work on balancing different parts of my life. I am posting less and spending more f2f time with Honey. He keeps asking me if I have a boyfriend online ;D I keep assuring him I am here at EOR sharing what has worked for me and trying to give others a hand up. I think he gets it now.....
Peace on the journey, SunnyGirl

Your opposite sign is Leo. What sign is Honey? Cancer and Virgo are not suppose to be compatible with you.

My hubby is only 10 days older than I am. We are both aquarious. We've been married 41 years. Maybe opposites attract? maybe I am jsut too stubborn to admit he can be a jerk and make my life miserable AT TIMES.
I guess I jsut fell in love and too bad if we are the same sign.

LOL I read in one of the books that the only person who could get along with another Aires, is another Aires, although a Libra is my opposte. I used a reading one time to beat myself up for years. It said, "So you are in love with an Aires, I don't know whether to congratulate you or give you my deepest sympathy.
