Yesterday I was too busy to check in, so I'll make today a little longer.
Yesterday I went to Wal mart and then Hardees for coffee. After that we left abotu 6 AM for a local elementary school. they have a HUGE veterans day celebration...complete with hummers, bagpipes, a blackhawk helicopter. The breakfast and program lasted 3 hours. It was wonderful to see all of the patriotism.
The Viet nam traveling wall is here this week and we also visited that.
Then to walgreens for picture development, to Olive Garden for lunch and when we got home I swapped out my summer closthes in teh hosue for fall clothes in the shed.
After that I crashed. lol
Today is Saturday. I am back from Walgreens....picked up the photos, back form Wal mart...picked up more fruit. Then when Hardees opens at 5 I'll be there for coffee. At 7 I ahve to be at the mall for my 2 WW meetings. I will be out about noon.
The veteran's day parade is today, but I imagine I will miss it htis year. I'd love to go to one of hte new movies on at the matinee. We'll see.
The weather today is supposed to be abotu 68 degrees. BEAUTIFUL for November in KY!

No big plans for me today. Just going to let the day unfold. Do plan to hit a meeting. A little earlier I started thinking of reasons why I didn't want to go to one, so from what I've learned that means I'm going to one.

checking in....
It's a little cloudy this morning, but they are expecting a high of 76 today, no complaints on the weather from me.....
"Honey" is my inspiration today, he gets out the vacuum early and gets me motivated. Swept and mopped the kitchen floor, wiped the cabinets while I was down there. Finished up with making the bed and doing a little dusting, watered the house plants and that's about it from me.
Veterans Day is November 11, not sure what the city has in mind, but normally they have a parade and commemorate at the Veterans cemetery. Really haven't read to much on when they are planning the events.....
No plans for me today, think I'll do a Marcie and "let the day unfold".... Have a great day, SunnyGirl

Have been visiting with my son while he makes some decision as to what he is going to do with his life. Now he is gone, hopefully I can go to bed and sleep.
Got points, but didn't place too high at bridge last night although we got 51%. Always end up awake for several hours when I come home but with the thought of my son finally taking steps to go back into recovery, was so thrilling, I didn't think I could sleep if I wanted to.
