 Welcome to EOR
« Thread Started on Jul 1, 2005, 9:14pm »

EOR would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our site. All registered members may respond to any of the readings they find. (Non-members are welcome to read on any subject.) It is by sharing our ESH (experience, strength, and hope) that we all grow in our recovery. Feel free to post your story, or any questions that you may have about the site or the Program. We are not affiliated with any particular program or sect, but most of our members do follow a 12 Step Program. (AA, NA, Al-Anon, Nar-Anon, ACOA, & OA.) Feel free to peruse the site and enjoy yourself. Hope to see you all posting and asking questions and sharing your own ESH.

Love & God Bless

Yes, I do remember you and it's wonderful to see you
back again. I know you will make it! Recovery is a
very simple program, but as humans we tend to
complicate it. O.D.A.T. ~ K.I.S.S.

Welcome home........

Peace on the journey, Sunnygirl

Hello all. My name is True (short for Trudie, which is short for Gertrude). Thanks for creating and maintaining a spot for all of us. Although I am new to this site, I am not new to 12-step programs. I am a recovered CODA and ACA. 15 years now! Wow. I hardly noticed them once I got my life in line. However, I wouldn't be here if it hadn't gotten out of line again. So..................thanks again all. I'll be around quite a bit if you don't mind.

Hi, my name is Cris and this is my second day in my relization of my addiction, this is a very hard step for me, I have been sober for two days, but I am a binge drinker so I have been sober for this long before, I am scared and am looking for support where ever , I just want to be sober and feel good ,,, I feel I have been drunk since college and I am so tired of the same thing but it is so hard to stop. I am glad I have found your sight and will begin to use it.

Welcome Cris!

I was a daily drinker myself, but we still have a common problem with a common solution. I came into recovery a few years ago in search of learning a new way of living without alcohol. After drinking for so many years, it''s taken me a lot of self-discovery and a lot of internal changes to have gotten as comfortable with myself in sobriety as i am today. But i am starting to find a life sober that is "second to none".

Have you found local face-to-face meetings to go to? Especially in early sobriety, i needed that level of contact to help me hold on. In any case, i'm glad you posted here, and i hope we can be of help.

Welcome Chris

I am from the other side of the hall , I hope you use and enjoy our site. There are a couple of other sites I would reccomend.

The official AA website:-
http://www.alcoholics-anonymous.org/

Then is the Big Book on line

http://www.recovery.org/aa/bigbook/ww/index.html

Another is the unofficial AA website listing meetings for the entire country
http://www.theagapecenter.com/AAinUSA/

Congradulations on your two days sober.
love & God Bless
