Dearest Lin,

When I met you online in 1999, I was stark raving sober due to my husband's relapse. I was sober, but dry. You reached out to me at AEB (another empty bottle) site and it was help at first site.

I timidly asked you to be my sponsor and lo and behold you said yes. I had been in AA for l8 years but at that point in my life, I didn't know how to live life.

You trusted me enough to give me your phone number.. I was able to talk live to you. You watched out for me in meetings. You taught me EVERYTHING that i know so far in ALANON.

A belated Happy Anniversary on your 11th Alanon birthday. or is it anniversary !

Lin, the power of example that you have shown me over the past 4 years is incredible. I've watched you walk with faith and trust in your Higher Power, when others would have given upl. And through your own crises, you always had time for me.

You are one of the most talented people that I know on this earth and one of the nicest. Please believe that as it comes straight from the bottom of my heart.

Keep up the good work, odaat..I NEED ya !
