Like the picture and your comment SG. The blessing are there and if we ignore them, we are the losers. My pain has been so bad that I have working and thinking through it. All I can do is surrender it to my God and ask for help to live out the day clean and sober. I was just talking to a friend who has fibromyalgia too, and it is good to share with someone who understands what you are going through. We both suffer from chronic pain, she takes very strong medication for hers but just for today, I choose not to go there. I am allowed a Tyenol 3 when the pain gets bad, but I have found they don't really help and they bother my kidneys. As I was told in recovery, the body manufactures the pain to tell you that you need more. I found out long ago, more doesn't make it better. Thanks for sharing.  |

Often it takes walking a mile in someone else's shoes
to really know what they are going through. Reminds
me of the story about the boy that complained because
he had no shoes and then he saw the boy with no legs.
I am pain free for the most part, so it's difficult for me
to relate to the pain you've learned to live with.... God
