Don’t drink and drive or the police may use this sobriety test on you! Check out the new sobriety test ...
It made me laugh, but it really isn't a laughing matter. When I look back on my life, I am fortunate to be alive. I am even more fortunate that I didn't kill someone else.
So many times I drove with my son in the car. My son said, "I never saw you drunk Mom." Which means that for most of his life, he never saw me sober.

Other people told me I was a good driver, but my son always told me that I scared him and that I was crazy behind the wheel.
My doctor told me several years ago that it wasn't safe for me to drive anymore because of my reflexes and my arthritis. When I see some people behind the wheel, I get a little resentful and think, "If they can drive, why not me?" Then I remember, it isn't about them, it is about me and my recovery. Why should I put myself and others at risk, just because I WANT to do something.
