U is for Understanding. Recovery is a process. As we stay clean, detox our body from harmful substances, we have more clarity of thought. If we are open, we can come to an understanding of God and who is to each individual. God is as He/She reveals Himself to me in today.

V is for Victory. Each day is a new beginning. We have victory over our disease, one day at a time. We need to be vigilante about our recovery. We can't stand on our laurels.

X is for X-Ray. Look within yourself. Does your inside match your outside. What do you need too change? What do you need to let go of? What do you need to nurture? Let go of your high expectation. Let go of old patterns and behaviors. Let go of old belief and be open to the new.

Y is for Yet. If you haven't done it 'yet' there is a good chance you will if make the decision to go back and do more research. If you are thinking relapse, dreaming alcohol, get back to basics. Take off the blanket of denial and choose recovery.
