Congratulations! I went to NA and collected tags when I quit. It was the hardest addiction for me to let go of and I had to come to a mental, emotional, and spiritual bottom in order to take the first step physically.

I quit for a week and then picked up again and it took me another year of praying for the willingness to quit before I could come to a spiritual, mental, emotional and physical desire to quit. I quit on the 21st of December, 1998, just before Christmas. I haven't picked one up since, but I still get cravings, which I acknowledge and let go of. Just for today, I choose not to pick up. Just for today I choose to be 'clean' and sober.
I used the program to quit when I finally reached the decision to change fear into faith. My fear was that I would put on weight. I lost three pounds. I later put the weight on because I ended up not using my program and used food to stuff some feelings. I told myself I needed 'comfort' and got into things like garlic mashed potatoes with lots of butter or gravy. I also stopped coca-cola and started drinking it again. Today I can't have it. Won't drink the diet, because it has chemicals in them that affect the liver and kidneys. They are more harmful than the sugar.
Today I went grocery shopping for the first time and looked at labels. Before I just grabbed what ever struck my fancy. If I had choice, I NEVER chose the 'Light' because fat is good!
Wrong!!!!
