If you have a vision, a dream, a yearning for something that
is worthy of you, then it is also worthy of your devotion.

What is worthy of you? That which uplifts you, supports you
positively, and contributes to your joy and abundance. When
you connect and commit to that, you can devote your life to
it. And it's less a matter of your saying, "I'm ready to die
for it," than your knowing, "I'm ready to live for it." I
mean really live by experiencing the zest, the enthusiasm,
the happiness of living in gratitude and fun.

Devotion is an energy that prepares the way in a manner that
is often unseen yet often results in incredible
opportunities. Devotion is an energy that says, "Regardless
of considerations, I will move on it, with it, under it,
around it. No matter what, I will go for it."

As we encounter what life is, we encounter loving. And as we encounter what God is, we encounter loving.

That process is something that starts transcending where we find ourselves. It starts transcending what meets us, in terms of the physicality of this world, and starts allowing us to transcend into the other worlds. The loving starts becoming something that is all-encompassing, and we realize that we are loving.

Identifying an imbalance in your life doesn't mean you have to rush out and try to bring it into balance. Rather than resisting the imbalance, or taking a position that lack of balance is bad, you can just relax and accept it as what is happening in this moment.

Question: No matter what I do I always have the feeling that I could have done better. What's going on?

Answer: The consciousness could be compared to an onion: layer upon layer upon layer. You peel off one layer of experience and you discover another layer. So you may sometimes find that the way you handled something, in what seemed to be the best you could do at a given time, in retrospect seems inadequate - because you have grown and discovered another layer within yourself that allows for a better solution. That feeling of "I could have done better" really points up your growth. You can view that as a positive step, not as a discouragement. Just keep moving.

As long as you are still present on this earth, you will
keep discovering more and more layers to work through - thank God. It's your process of unfoldment and evolvement into God.

When you hear yourself saying that you're too tired to do spiritual exercises, instead of going to bed, do spiritual exercises. Charge up the higher consciousness until it's so charged that it starts discharging the excess into your body in terms of available energy. That way, you'll have the energy you need to sustain you in the work you do in Spirit.

Home should be a place that you can go to plug into a "battery" and recharge your life so that you can come out again into the world and do the best work you can. When you get tired, you should be able to go home, lie down, and regather your energies to go back out into the world.

This is one reason it's important that the home be a stable, supportive environment.

If you're going to go inside, you have to go in and contact a separate reality than the reality you're familiar with. That separate reality will be the Spirit. And you cannot take any prejudice, any pre-conceived idea, any condition, or anything that you're looking for inward. It is called - be patient. Let go and let God. Let go, relax, let God, be patient.

So if you're letting go and being patient, then the form
will meet you. It will meet you! Now at the point that it
meets to you, you enter into the process called
enlightenment. At that point you become part of what we call the Spirit and it becomes your teacher. And you listen to people on the planet because they're going to give you guidelines of what's going on. But they can never really teach you.

The best approach is simply to live in the now, do the best you can with present abilities and talents and let your actions speak for themselves. That takes understanding. That takes awareness. Loving is an inner momentum towards health, wealth, and happiness. This kind of loving isn't emotional love. It's not about possessing or controlling anyone or anybody.

What we're talking about is spiritual loving. Spiritual loving is neutral. It's not indifferent or uncaring; it's impartial and unconditional. Nothing is excluded from unconditional loving.

From a human perspective, it seems that we are constantly given things we cannot handle or do not know what to do with. From the Soul's perspective, you are never given anything you cannot handle.

The spiritual essence is so extremely subtle. I think most of you have had the experience of seeing the sunlight come through a window, and then you can see the dust particles in the air - some people call them sunbeams. That's pretty rarified. If you didn't see the sunlight coming through the room, then you might not see the sunbeams even though you know they would be there. Then, if you were to place an open bag at the bottom of those sunbeams, how long do you think it would take before those dust particles would fill that bag?

When you are dealing with spiritual energy, it is even more subtle than that.
