I jsut learned today that a 6th grader at my school has malignant throat cancer. I ask for prayers from my freinds for Michael. He's a really sweet kid. He has to take 40 chemo treatments and perhaps have another surgery.
Please keep him and his family in your prayers. LINDA

Dear Lin,
Cancer is such a horrible disease and yet they have done wonders in the medical field in today.
My son's girlfriend has had five bouts with it, and for the moment, there is no signs of it.
My prayers do go out to Michael and his family. You do have to wonder how someone that young could develop this type of disease so young. I often think of cancer and something that has been bottled up in side of you and not been able to be expressed or released in some way. It definitely is something that can corrode the soul and eat away at the body, mind and spirit.
