D is for ..... disease.
Just as any other disease can be contracted from another so can the disease of addiction.

E is for EFFECTS... I have worked hard to change how I let he drinking of others afffect. The effectos of their drinking cerrtainly did a number on me. I am thankful i can use my experience to change my own life.

F is for .... the forest.
Each forest started with a a single seed that grew and blossomed to yield more seeds and more trees. So it is with recovery. The first small steps bring us into recovery. Just as the forest has to endure harsh weather, fires, and storms, so does our recoveries. There maybe set backs and slips but through the grace of God we find the road again.

Newcomers are a wonderful group of people. They remind me of where I was not to long ago. They thirst for peace, and knowledge to end the chaos in their world. They give us the opportunity to really work our program. Please welcome them all.
