S is for Spirituality
In recovery we are growing spiritually; we're on a spiritual journey. Spirituality is not the same as religion, although many recovering people go to church. It is about our spirit, our personal relationship to a Power greater than ourselves, and our relationship with ourselves.
[Taken from Melody Beattie's "Codependent's Guide to the Twelve Steps"]
Best wishes, Kathy

T is for Trust. Trust in my Higher Power, learning to trust myself and others. For many years I was told, "Who are you to know?" What makes you think your opinion is worthwhile?" Who asked for your opinion, it doesn't matter, etc.|" Today I know I am part of the whole and I trust my Higher Power to lead and direct me.
