I think that being polite is the same thing as being courteous. I am gonna be polite and do the Thursday and Friday chips tonite so I don't forget and let them slide. I will be outta town over nite on Thursday so this is the best way to deal with it. Are you rude or polite??? Please let me know! Thanks-----Mistyeve

I like to be treated with respect and politeness so I try to do the same to others. If i think back to times I may have ben on the RUE side, it was probably nothing to do with the person I was rude to. it was something that had happened earlier. I actually allowed my moods to spill over in how I treated others. I remember once I rushed out a door that a stranger held open for me. I was angry at my husband for relapsing again. I was not angry at the man holding the door for me. As i went through without looking at him he said THANK YOU??? That rudeness of me in not telling him thank you and HIM having to point it out to me stuck in my mind. today even if i'm in a bad mood, I will say THANKS to anybody i think needs a thank you.
No need for rudeness. And when a clerk is rude to me, I try not to return the favor with rudeness back. I tell myself..."I don't know who peed in her cheerios this morning." It helps me remember that 2 wrongs dont make a right.

Dear Lin---You got some real good math going on there! 2 wrongs don't make a right but they sure can cause some rude and mean behavior and fights! I need to keep that in mind so I don't "throw another log on the fire" so to say! Thanks for stopping by Honey! Good to hear from you------Mistyeve

Today I was polite to the lady on duty at my apartment building and she let me borrow her can opener.
Mine bit the dust, only opens here and there and I have been using a knife on it.
Polite goes a long way, rudeness doesn't go anywhere wiith me. I don't find it acceptable from myself or from others.
