I need to procrastinate on confronting my boss about my schedule. I am so pissed off that my time and money is getting messed with. I did a phone interview last night for another job and I will continue to "Do It" and job hunt on the side. I procrastinate on taking a drink. I know I can still relapse even after all these years. Do you procrastinate or do it??? Please let me know! Thanks!-------- Mistyeve

A job isnt worth relapsing over although I can sympathise with the crap they are putting you through.I still procrastinate sometimes but the mentail grief I put myself in over not doing something will nudge me into doing it.For the most part i do it

I am very much a DO IT person. When I ahve to rely on others who procrastinate, I get antsy. I dont know much about flowers. I ahve a wildflower bed and I know some of it is weeds and some flowers. I had no idea what to pull up and what to leave. My friend has promised since last fall to get over here to help. I have finally pinned down a day and it is SUPPOSED to be today. So hopefully I will learn what I can pull up and what can stay. meanwhile my flower bed as gone WILD. lol
I dont procrastinate at all when a job is left up to me. I like to GIT UR DONE....as they say on TV. I'd rather put something behind me...mark it off the TO DO list and then I can find something else to do. Procrastinating jsut makes a job get bigger. Why should i make more work for myself?

Good morning Mistyeve,
Procrastiation/Do it
For me I am a Do it person. I am really uncomfortable when things pile up because of procrastination.
As Lin mentions in her reply, others procrastination make me "antsy" also. Like when I see my kids with laundry piled up the wall. (usually six to eight loads). It just seems to me so much easier to do a couple of loads every other day then spend a whole day doing laundry. By waiting to do it until it is almost an unsurrmountable chore , it becomes something that I build up resentments and hatred for. So rather than having that happen, I take small chunks and get it done. Unfortunately some chores in life aren't all fun, but they have to get done.
There is one form of procrastination though which really gets my goat.... having to wait for someone when you have set a time. I am always prompt, if not early. It just seems downright rude to make an appointment and show up a half hour late. My time is too valuable to sit and wait endlessly.
Love & God Bless, Arlene

Hey John----You are absolutely right! A job is NOT worth having a relapse over. The pressure of not knowing what is going on can be real difficult and I am still human even with decades of sobriety..... I need to remember that there is nothing so bad that a drink won't make it worse!!!!-----Mistyeve
Dear Lin----Wild flowers are just beautiful. I was told that a daisy was originally a wild flower. That is all I know about flowers but just thought I would share! LOL Thanks for stopping by! Good Luck with your garden-----Mistyeve
Dear Arlene----I agree with you on the waiting for a Dr or Dentist when ya have an appt. What the hell do ya make an appt for if they don't honor it??? My time is valuable too and I think they should pay me for the time I have to wait for them! Just my opinion! Thanks for stoppin by!---Mistyeve

I am a do it person usually. Unless something gets in my way to make me procrasinate, and then I have to reel me back to square one, unfortually, that happens to often. Today is a total do it day and with the cool weather this am, I am going to take advantage of it. Hope the job hunting goes well for you misty. Sometimes just communicating with an feisty boss can help a bit. Good luck and hope everything works out for ya.

Dear DG----Yeah I sure dread having to impersonate an adult and find out if he is gonna pay me for Memorial Day or if I can work different hours to make up for it. This is a real pain in the ask!!! Thanks for stopping by Honey----- Mistyeve
