My divorce settlement is gonna be delayed by 3-6 months. My ex said he would cover me for a loan to get a condo or townhouse and I could pay him back outtta the settlement. He instead went out an bought his own house and it is basically HORRAY FOR ME & F**K YOU I am devastated and discouraged and very very hurt and angry. I had a shred of trust and love left but now that is gone! The divorce was a GREAT idea but now I wonder if there is life after divorce cuz I am reel despondent at my options that I got left and fear and faith are playing tag with me today!!!!! Do you know any thing about fear or faith???? Please let me know... Desperate Donna aka Mistyeve

My bbest idea on fear and faith is they cant exist at the same time. If i have alot of fear, I'm slipping in my faith. if i have alot of FAITh, my fears are minimum or fleeting.
It sounds like you are more into anger and resentment than FEAR over the condo. One good thing...if you have seen the ex in a different light it shoudl make it easier to get on with your life without looking back. Right??? Kind of like the ole' GOOD RIBDDANCE to BAD RUBBISH>

Dear Lin----Thanks for the positive words of wisdom. I just HATE to have to wait for months & months to get on with my life and also to be drained financially when he could of easily helped me out. He promised to help me and then he backed out on his promise. I think one of the worst things that can happen to a woman is to have a may back out on his promise to her. That is lower then a whales tail to me!!! Thanks for stopping by. I haven't given up yet on this column or anything else. I sure want to but the stubborness is still there------- Mistyeve

There is an old saying that fear and love cannot dwell in the same house . If you have a settlement coming in 3/6 months, count your blessings. That gives you 3/6 months to find a nice place and maybe a good paying job. There is a chance the the job would be in a different area so you could look for a house there. Have a great day and look on the bright side.
