At this very moment, I'm relaxed and carefree and pretty darn serene! I haven't left the house yet....LOL.....I can 'be' all those things in my own little 'kingdom'.
But I get to be around people today who'll be asking me a whole lotta questions because it's their job TO ask questions. We get audits from time to time and their job is to go looking for 'stuff'. I have a tendency to get on the defensive side when they show up.
I had a whole lot to try to defend for a long time--cuz I wanted to be 'right', and I wanted to keep doing what I was doing (destructive as it was). Today, there's not much TO defend--I'd much rather answer questions and be open to new ways of doing things.
Oh, LET me be that way today....LOL Cuz I DO have to leave the house! LOLOL
*hugs* Have a great humpday!

I came to see about posting a chip. But since I missed the one from yesterday, I will jsut reply.
I try to stay relaxed. I am a multitasker and for ME relaxed means I have loves of things covered at once and thengs are gng rather smoothly. Instead of defensive I get a little frazzled when thing s start to unwind. Today I can sit back and evaluate a situtation...I can change those things that are up to me to change...and accept the rest. That really helps me stay RELAXED.
For me bveing RELAXEd does nto mean stretched out on a couch doing nothing. I'f I'm stretched out on the couch I'm watching a movie, reading a book, talking on the phone, working on lesson plans are at tleast 2 of those at once. I may be like one of those old cars that had gears. If your low gear went out, you had to start off in 2nd. I think I am in 2nd gear when i am "relaxed"....and shift ro 3rd, 4th and 5th at other times of the day.
Thanks for posting this graced.
Watching the news this week abotut he floods and the displaced families...makes me so grateful to be safe and dry and have a job and a home. I'm looking into how I can help out. LIN

Makes me sick how some folks are acting during this crisis.... I keep praying!
Just wanted you to know I spent my day yesterday reminding myself "open hands NOT clenched fists"--cuz I can get defensive. But I did okay! No one got hurt...LOL....and the audit went well. Well, at least the first DAY of the audit went well.
Open hands, open hands, open hands..... LOL STILL need to remember that one for today as well!
