JUST when I think I have a handle on practicing patience, I get MORE PRACTICE...LOL
It's okay--I'm finding my 'happy spot' to be in whilest I'm doing the 'wait'. That's been a big thing for me. Used to be that I'd put a whole lot of things on 'hold' during the wait. And while that's practical and required for some things, that just won't work all the time!
Today I'm doing a 'wait' on more than one thing--probably a whole LOT of things, truth be told. But danged if I can tell you all that I'm waiting on--I've disciplined myself to do what's in front of me during the wait. MOST times I'm so busy in doing that, that I forget what I'm was getting impatient over in the first place. LOL
Maybe that's old age?
Nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....LOLOL

A good chip for me today. I had plans to go out this morning but had to cancel them because I need to wait for the cable repairman to show up. I also need to wait in for a prescription.
I didn't have much patience day before yesterday when I turned on my TV, which was okay the night before when I shut it off, and found snow and no picture.
I identify! I call it "a happening looking for a place to land" not knowing what I want but knowing what ever it is I want it ain't there!

I can relate to Caressa...when technology does not cooperate. We've had numerous issues with the computers at school. It's been my biggest frustration this year.
Parience? When the computer does not load...I shut it foo and go do something else. Eventually it will do hat I want it to. If I'm sewing and have to rip something out because of a booboo, I usually jsut put it DOWn for now and come back to it later or another day. That's the easiest way to find patience for me. Jsut remove from the situation for a little bit. It's kind of like the count to ten before you speak . it works.
