A is for: Attitude
“We cannot change our past. We can not change the fact that people act in a certain way. We can not change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our Attitude.”

F is for Faith. Faith in the unknown, knowing that if God brings me to it, he will see me through it. Just because I might have experience something in the past that was fearful and didn't work out, doesn't mean that this time is the right time, especially if I take God with me.

H is for Heaven/Hell. Are they a state of mind? For many years I lived a hellish life, when I came to recovery, I chose to leave there and going back wasn't an option. I choose to live a spiritual life and connect to the divine orderly good of the here and now.
Heaven and Hell are not at the end of your life, they are here and now....
Hell and heaven are within you. The doors are very close to each other; with the right hand you can open one, with the left hand you can open another. With just a change of your mind, your being is transformed - from heaven to hell and from hell to heaven. Whenever you act unconsiously, without awareness, you are in hell; when ever you are conscious, whenever you act with full awareness, you are in heaven.
- Osho

J is for Justify. In today, I no longer have to justify my existance. I don't have to justify my reason for being. It took me a long time to get out of the habit of having to explain myself. It is okay to just be me.
