God's Love

... don't forget that when you "cast your bread upon the waters," you never know how it will be returned to you. God is so big He can cover the whole world with his Love and so small He can curl up inside your heart.

This is a quote taken from What you reap you will sow that I posted yesterday. What a wonderful way of portraying God's love and how vast it is.

I didn't feel very lovable and my heart and outlook was very small. I am so glad He fit into that small space and enlarged my outlook to include me and others.

God is only limited by my outlook and how willing I am to open my heart to let Him in.

Many years ago a country western singer by the name
of Hank Snow recorded the following, from a song called
"How Big is God"....

How big is God, how big and wide is His domain
To try to tell these lips can only start
He's big enough to rule his mighty universe
Yet small enough to live within my heart.

I am humbled when I try to put into words what
God means to me. He has been right here with
me, through thick and thin.... Not a day goes by
that I don't speak to Him! Every bird that sings,
every single thing reminds me of the debt I owe
Him....

Thank you for sharing. He was from Canada's east coast. My sister's use to sing in church many, many years ago and we sang this song. Thanks for the memory.
