E is for Easy Does It...but do it! Some times I can procrastinate, other times, I can go at things like a banshee and wear myself out and it is go, go, go collapse. It is best to find balance and remember to take it easy, one step at a time, often one minute at a time. It is easier to do things when I don't put high expectations on myself and think it has to be done all at once. It is even easier when I accept things and realize that it doesn't have to be done today. Things will happen when the are suppose to without me trying to make them happen. Attachments:

I is for Insecurity. I can flush all my troubles down the drain and depend on my Higher Power or I can hang onto them and try to fix things myself. I can let things go or turn them over to my Higher Power and be secure in His love and protection. Attachments:

N is for Newcomers. I must remember that they need to learn to crawl before they can walk and not project my expectations onto them. Each day is a new beginning. This is the last day of an old year with promises for a New Year! For me, that means rebirth, new things, new attitudes and experiences. I look at each day as a new day and if you woke up before 8:21 a.m. you have more sobriety than I have today. Attachments:

P is for Practice. This is a program of practice, practice, practice. In order to be willing to practice, I need to find patience and know that although I may have dealt with an issue once, it may come back again and will have to address it again and apply my program to it again! Attachments:

Q is for Quit. It is a new year, and time to get rid of the old behaviors that no longer serve me and make some changes in my life. Quit isolating, quit feeling sorry for myself, quit thinking I can't and change it to "I" know I can. I need to be my own best friend and give myself a hug and stop being my own worst enemy.
