C is for Computer. For those of us gifted to have one can come to sites like EoR and get food for our body, mind and spirit. It helps me to communicate with other recovery people when I am unable to get to meetings and get that f2f connection necessary for my recovery. This is a we program, without you, there is no me. H is for: Happy
"Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me Happy or
unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be Happy in it." - - Groucho Marx

L is for Love. True love can not be found until I can find it withn myself. If it isn't within me, then I am using others to obtain it. I live my life through others looking for validation and acceptance. When I look outside of myself to meet my needs, I am not trusting my Higher Power. His love is unconditional, forgiving and all encompassing and through that Love I can come to love myself.

O is for Open Mind. My best thinking got me to the doors of recovery. I had to open my mind to other people's ideas and not shut off concepts other than my own. I had not close off people because I thought my way was better.

Q is for Quit. I not only had to quit my drug of choice but look at all the other things in my life that were obsessive/compulsive and find balance. Anything that came between me and who my God would have be me in today, become my Higher Power when i don't surrender it to Him and quit thinking I know best.
