“Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it” - - Charles R. Swindoll
It's easy to feel gratitude when life is humming along and every thing is coming up roses. But, gratitude isn’t always that easy! Sometimes we have struggles and have to look really hard to find gratitude. Learning to feel grateful for the daily struggles of life takes practice and remember. "if it doesn't kill you it'll make you stronger". The idea of being grateful for difficulties is that these are put before us so that we may learn and grow. Learning gratitude for everything that happens in my life helps me to strengthen my faith and trust in God. The problems I am struggling with today, may end up being one of my greatest gifts. God has a plan for my life and the lesson I am learning may be needed down the road....
I need to always remember gratitude for the good times and the bad, "It's in the valley I grow".... Hugs, SG

An attitude of gratitude is one that not only makes be feel good but puts the feeling into action. I follow it up with giving back what was so freely given to me.
As the quote says, I am so grateful that I don't react the way I use to that I am given that moment to stop and think before I speak, to go with the flow and find acceptance of what is in the moment.
It is my attitude that carries a message to others. They see the difference in me and hopefully they will reach out to me when they are in need.
