I received an early phone call today, my Mother (Wanda) was
taken to the hospital. She collapsed on the floor and was
unresponsive, so an ambulance was called..... waiting for
more results from the tests, they did a CT scan, spinal tap
and have her on an IV.
Please say a prayer for her

I listened to my Mom say just a few words and I hear
her only growing weaker and weaker.... I do know
she has an infection of some sort, but that is all! My
thought is this is part of the end stage of dementia
and it's my hope that if it is, she will pass gently in
her sleep. Please continue to keep her in your prayers
and prayers for all of us that love her.

My Mother was taken by ambulance into Oklahoma City....
They are doing emergency surgery on her spine, she has
acute bacterial meningitis, there is a huge pus pockect
inside the spinal column.
Please keep us in your prayers... Cherie

Mom survived the surgery, but doctor is not sure she
will have the use of her arms or hands. They put in
artifical disks in her neck and removed a large soft
tissue mass filled with infection, still much uncertainty
in her prognosis... I am hoping for a miracle! Cherie

No changes in her condition, they have
her in an induced coma, her upper body

They will begin taking my Mother off the ventilator today...
She in no longer sedated and is concience, she blinks her
eyes in response to a question... Started to write more
about this but afraid it's just to much information!

My Mother passed away at 12:23 this morning.....
I prayed for a miracle and in the end, she had no suffering!

Sorry for your loss Sunnygirl. I know it is late. I think my mom is going downhill also. I am certain she has dementia and also some withdrawl from alcohol and maybe over the coutner drugs. Of course.. non one wants to talk about it .. my siblings. There is a lot of anger though from my sister.
Prayers for my mom and family also.
