AA means lot to me even though I didn't totally identify. It was where I started my recovery journey. The main thing I learned was that I am powerless over alcohol. I used it like I did the other people, places, and things in my life. I.e. many relationships, my bed, the ,Legion, local bar, food, prescription drugs, computer, etc.
