What we do each day is not as important as how we do it. If we are abstaining, working the program, and staying in touch with the Higher Power, then whatever we do during the day will go as it should.
Food For ThoughtEach day, I have a choice as to whether I wish to work my program or not to. A an ex-boyfriend use to day, "Oh, I had a program, there were just days that I chose not to implement it." For me, it is a 24 hour a day program, not a 2-4 hour a day program. It works on my other addictions, but often when it comes to my eating disorder, I tend to not do the do things. i.e. Not eating regularly, not eating, not making healthy choices as to what to eat, and choosing to eat, when I am not hungry. This last one has been a problem because I often don't feel hungry these days and have to eat to fuel my body, mind and spirit.

It is a program of participation not one that we just sit on the sidelines and be a spectator
Spectators don't get to be the winners...The participants get to be the winners

We are given freedom of choice. Just for today I choose not to use, no matter what. Substation does not work, I know, I tried that way for 8 years before I found recovery.
