I have seen on here that most of the prayer requests are for others, however, I request one for my family and myself. My husband, a week ago today, came home from treatment for pain pill addiction. I would just like prayers to help us through this rough time. To make us strong enough to handle whatever is thrown our way. Thank you.

Welcome to EOR1 I have been exactly in your situation and I know how helpful it is to feel the power of many prayers. Sending porayers your way from KY .
For me the best thing I could do was get to Alanon meetings. If your area has Naranon, that is even better. Those meetings gave me a safe place to vent. It gave me a room full of strangers who totally understood my feelings and frustrations. They helped hold me up until I was able to stand on my own.
We have an open recovery emeting here in the chatroom tonight. It's 6 central, 7 Eastern....not sure your time zone. Maybe you can drop in and join us!
