Some members of the fellowship say 'Our mind is a dangerous neighborhood to be in alone.' But together we can be on block watch! Don't let your mind get the better of you. Turn that 'M' in me upside down, like we are asked to turn it over, and make a 'We' out of that 'Me.'
It isn't 'me' and 'you' anymore; it's 'we' and 'us.'

When in the hospital, I was very aware of the energy around me that was there as a result of other people's prayer. One reason being that I hadn't been in a place to be conscious and ask for it for myself prior to doing the meditation.
Others were doing for me, what I could not do for myself. Was so grateful, and asked that the goodness be returned to sender that they too may be blessed. What is good for one, is not always good for someone else, so to my way of thinking, only God knows and can do the filtering.
Sometimes the energy is not good for us and we need to reject it because it isn't always sent with good intent. Though the words we send sound good, it is the motive and intent behind them that makes them healing.
When it is I, it is often selfish and self-centered, when it is we, it is God-centered and capable of healing the body, mind and spirit. I have found that I can ask for what is in my best interest and for the good of the whole and for what I need for my Highest Good. An attitude of gratitude always makes for a more heart felt prayer. A grateful addict will never have a reason to pick up.
My best thinking got me to the doors of recovery. When I heard that, I went to as many meetings as I could, to find a new way of living and thinking because going back was never an option. It still isn't! We can do what I can't do alone.
It isn't 'me' and 'you' anymore; it's 'we' and 'us.'
