Trust -or- Suspicious
"Don't trust to hold God's hand; let Him hold yours. Let Him do the holding, and you the Trusting. - - William Culbertson
I've been very agitated and worried waiting for that phone call about getting my hubby's treatments for prostate cancer. I've paced the floors and called everyone involved with the process and just kept being told to wait, they would call as soon as the hear. Looking at it now, I was stepping all over God's toes and trying to make it happen myself.
Glory of glories, we finally got the approval..... Had I trusted God enough, worry would not have driven me into the frenzied nut I was acting like. I've always had faith in God, but I see now that faith is like a muscle. The more hardships we face and arrive safely on the other side, that's where our trust is born and our worries are left behind. ODAT....
Peace on the journey, SG

Trust is something that is vital to any relationship. It was the reason I split up with my ex-husband. I went back to him and found that I was very suspicious of him. It ended up I had a right to be, as he was with another woman the night our son was born and moved in with her when our son was two months old. What I found when I got into new relationships that I took that mistrust with me. As each relationship ended, the sins of the one before got carried forward because of my using, I never grieved each relationship as it ended.
As a rule, I trust until someone breaks that trust. Once the trust is gone, I have trouble being open to trusting again.

Love the quote. So true, He is so much more powerful than we are. We can let go far too easily for far too many reasons.
