A is for Awareness. I have to become aware of a problem in order to change it. That is why I had to do a Fourth Step, to see what was there, and what action I needed to do let go and let God. I had to find the acceptance to move on in my recovery.

B is for Blessings. The gifts of recovery are priceless. Much to big to put a value on and yet to some people they are small and unimportant. Each day we are clean and sober, we become more aware of the things around us and the bounty that recovery brings. Attachments:

D is for Dilligent. We do recover from that hopeless state of mind and body, but we do not recover from our disease. Be ever watchful, it is cunning, baffling and powerful and tells you that you no longer have to do the do things that keep us clean and sober.

M is for Membership. It was important for me to search for a group and find where I felt comfortable. It took me a while, I didn't belong to a group when I was due for my three month pin. I ended up joining a Woman's Group because I liked the fact that they joined in a circle for the closing prayer and the reading of the promises. I joined here because it has postings on all the fellowships. I qualify for membership in most of them. Attachments:
