Congratulations Donna. Eight years was a great year in my own recovery and I send you wishes for many gifts and blessing in today and for the upcoming year, one day at a time.

Eight stand for "infinity" for me because I realized that I had recovered from that 'hopeless state of mind and body' they talk about in the Big Book.

I was a uselful, most times contented, and capable woman, who could go out into society and feel like she belonged there. I no longer had to role play and I could be me.

I'm sorry I did not get to the boards Thursday morning to wish you a happy day. My best freind's dad passed away that monring and i was busy with phone calls and arrangements before I went to work and idd not get to the baords.
