~ Keep Me Calm ~
Keep me calm and still I pray, throughout the storms of this rough day. A tempest cannot stir and brew when all my heart is filled with You.
With confidence, "This too shall pass", confusion cannot mount and mass. Whatsoever comes this day, keep me calm and still I pray.

The poem or prayer above came from a wonderfull web site filled with inspiration. I have shared some of these poems, but would encourage you to visit this site and see the beautiful graphics as well.

I first read this poem about a week or two ago, but I was in a hurry and didn't "really read" it from the heart.
I have been a little down this last week as my daughters health is "out of order" once more. I have really tried to pull from my faith, the strength I need to let go of the worry. God is in charge and worrying never changed a thing for me. When I ran across the prayer above, it really touched my heart. I pray because I have faith, I worry because I evidently don't have enough faith. "Whatsoever comes this day, keep me calm and still I pray."
Please add my daughter Kim to your prayer list.....
Have a great day, SG

Dearest SunnyGirl,
The poem was touching. Your daughter will be added to my my prayers. Hope she gets better soon. Diabetes can be really rough. the smallest thing can set your sugars off. Love you and God Bless Arlene

My prayers are with you and your daughter SunnyGirl.
My sisters each have it, one is able to take pills and the other is on insulin and always having complicatons.
She is on a very low protein diet, and I am not sure I could live and have the patience she has to maintain it.
I have been diagnosed as borderline a couple of times, and I have to pay close attention to my diet, especially when I feel like I am always wanting MORE sweets and always feeling thirsty. Fatigue is also a contributing factor I think, but with the fibromyalgia, it isn't something I can use to base my blood sugar.

Thank you all for the prayers and good thoughts......
Kim is home from the hospital, they are going to get her on an insulin pump as soon as possible. They are hoping this will help stabilize the gastroparesis that keeps her in and out of the hospital so often. She has a new doctor and has been very honest with her about her former drug use. I am very hopeful that her health will keep improving...... God is awesome and I have been blessed in so many ways.
Peace on the journey, SG

In today, I am grateful. My two sisters are on Metformin and Insulin. I am on three Metformin a day. We all have heart conditions, one worse than the other. The other two are overweight, and thankfully I have lost mine, but I am beginning to think that mine is from stress.

Still it on insulin. Just had blood work done this week. More will be revealed.
I am seeing my heart specialist and want to know if the blood thinner is because of hardening of the arteries which would explain the poor circulation. My dad had I and my sister has it.
