meeting topics....

meeting topics. You may want to check them out,
or you may have a request for a topic that you are
having trouble with. I am always looking for new

Hi Sg.

I have always been a fan of Steps as part of a meeting.
They give you alot of E,S&H lessons, and helps me learn how to work the program by using the steps as we go along.

You bring up a good point! We no longer have a
step meeting here at EOR. In the past we have had,
but there was not a lot of support for it. Maybe it's
time to consider this again..... I am not qualified to
lead a step meeting, as I have never completely
worked the 12 steps. I would be try to support anyone
that feels they are qualified and would come forward
to lead this meeting.

There have also been several attemps to get a step
study going on the message boards, but there isn't
a lot of support there either. Lots of good information
has been shared and there is a wealth of information
in the Nar-Anon work shop. But, there is no dialogue
going on, pertaining to the 12-steps.....

I know that it has been a problem in the past and the support isn't great.
But I am thinking that its because everyone feels like if they don't know all the steps they can't share or support it. But its not true in this case for me, if I don't know the steps and we are talking about it.. then that is how we grow and learn how to expand our working the whole 12 steps all the way thru.
I hope that someone will try and give it a shot at it again, as its a very valuable tool to know and learn.
