D is for Desire. In order to get clean and sober, we need a desire to quit using. In the Big Book, it says an honest desire. Many want it, many need it, many wish for it, but unless they want it, the program doesn't work. Often had to pray for the desire to be willing to be willing. Attachments:

I is for Interest. Unless you take and interest in the program and the suggestions offered to you, you will not recover. There is more to recovery than putting a plug in the jug. It is investing yourself in a new way of life. Attachments:

M is for More. No longer more drinks and drugs, but more recovery. More working on my program and myself. More attention to what is right and what is wrong. What might be good for someone else, might not be good for me and visa versa. More fun and fellowship. Attachments:
