just something to ponder .... most social media sites require logging in to view the content, here we have tried it both ways, visitors can view but not post as well as visitors can't view or post .... to let anyone in to read about recovery may be helpful, however it eliminates a chance for us to connect with them if they never register or post ..
what are your thoughts on this?

Mornin Max....
Did I tell you yet how wonderful it is to have you home again.... ;D
I've been pondering this for a while and I'm still not sure what I think about this subject! I know there are some that come only to read the posts.... and I sometimes wonder if they are slowly absorbing the information and they don't even realize it. I also know that there are MANY MANY people who do register and never post a word. I've looked through the members we have now and if you went through them and deleted every name that has never posted our roll call would be much much smaller.
I haven't checked lately, but there were days when I was the only one logged in and it showed we had 20 visitors reading. Funny thing with that was they all had nearly the same IP #. I blocked a few of them as they put links in their Signature, to a site for mail order brides....
I post every day, so having to log in doesn't bother me in the least... just don't want to do anything that might discourage someone who is looking for help and hope and don't even know it yet....
My thoughts on this.... think we need a few more people to ponder this before doing anything. I know I need to THINK it all the way through!
Peace on the journey, SG
