Not sure if it is just my mind, but these four pictures tell me a story. I posted this on another site, but thought it was a good way of looking at our emotions in today.
The first picture of love and relationships, which can be stressful when pressed with the trials of every day living. This picture also reminds me that we are at peace when we are with those of our own creed, but when we 'step outside the box' and mingle with others, we are different and are not always acceptable to them. As long as we are acceptable in and of ourselves and are strong in our love, nothing can hurt us.
The second picture says that we have to go through things in life that we don't like. I also reminds me that we have to do things for others that they don't like and it is for their Highr Good, but that doesn't mean that they won't come back at us in a stressful manner. I know I still have a problem with raised voices and people who move into my space. I am much better at confrontation, just don't stand in my space when you do it. It also reminds me that I have to cleanse the body, mind and spirt, let go of the old to make room for the new.
The third picture is the old tape that plays, here have a cookie and you will feel all better. An old myth that can lead to an addiction, which leads to the covering up of feelings and doesn't allow you to work through what you are reall feeling. It takes away that feeling and makes you feel good, and as the song says, makes you feel like dancing, only to come back later and wonder where the wonder and joy went. Stuffing feeling makes us sick, and it doesn't matter what substance we use, the cookie can be just as guilty as a bottle of beer, a glass of wine, that numbing joint, that 'awwww' cigarette, those favorite pills, that new scratch ticket, that crack pipe you chase, etc. The cookie looks innocent, and yet it can do the same thing as all those others can do. One is good, a thousand is never enough. I was never one of those "to the bottom of the bag" eaters but my son is. Which on my part, gives me a resentment when there is none for me.
Now picture No. 4. which rounds it all out, to body, mind and spirit, tells me that the Creator can heal this stinking thinking. The horses represent healing. This picture represents to me that I have the Spirit of God within me and all I have to do is tap into it. It is there, it is up to me to tap into it. Help is there if I am willing to receive it. My God can heal my thinking, because it is what leads to the stuffing and takes me out of myself to other things instead of going inward and asking for the help of my God's Grace and Love.
May the White Light of Love and the Spirit of the Universe surround each and everyone of you and give you peace in the moments of stress.
