Welcome Schell.Thank you for your post SG, never thought of it because she had joined quite a long time ago and never thought of her as new. Hope she will continue to share her journey with us.

Thank you so much Sunnygirl and Caressa for the heart felt greeting. Unfortunately for being here on Sunday is not good for me...I meet with my OA sponsor at 5pm, meeting at 6pm...I alternate week to week with AA one week on Sunday and OA the next week...always OA sponsorship at 5 though! I have been getting so much out of working the OA program along with AA...it was suggested to me so many times, by AA members to perhaps try OA...yes a big, deadly issue for me...I finally walked in the doors, very beaten down and in bad health in July, I finally worked hard and prayed hard that I may listen to my sponsor and share in meetings, my sponsor and I have pretty much daily contact, after a bad slip in October, I stopped looking at "a day " of when I became abstinent...my sponsor kept track,, she announced my month anniversary for me...I was shocked...like you mean a month went by where I didn't engage in the food issue! I cried hugs all around...recovery has not only kept me alive , but let me grow in so many ways...I may always be a little off center...but hey , I am slowly learning to like who I am...slowly, with lots of work in the programs.
