B is for: Balance
I chose to get off the roller-coaster ride, today I have Balance, peace, and harmony in my life. It may
not feel as exciting, but they are the best places to be.

D is for Divine Orderly Good. The GOD/DOG SYNDROME works in my life and I hope it works in yours. It doesn't matter if someone doesn't believe in the same God or has the same religious beliefs, we can all get clean and sober, through the spirituality of the program.

H is for Help. It is alright to reach out and ask for help. This is a we program. My best thinking got me to the doors of recovery. To get healthy, I had to open my ears, mind and my heart and listen to others and what worked for them. Attachments:

J is for Just. Just for today, I need to stay clean and sober. I don't have to justify my existence, it is okay to be me. The old tapes played for many years and I didn't know that I could erase them, and just make new ones.

M is for Mind. Mind my own business. How other people work their program is not upt to me to judge. What works for me, might not work for others, but it has stood be in good stead over a few 24 hours, and it changes and grows as I change and grow and become aware. What works for others, just might not work for me. We each need to find our own path and be mindful of the pitfalls, curves, hills and valleys along the way. I need to keep my magic magnifying mind off my expectations and focus on my acceptance.

O is for Older. Thanks to the program, I got to live. I thought I would never live to be forty and here I am at a ripe old age, and life keeps going on, an on. I get to live the wonders that I missed for many years and experience the things I missed, and if I am open to it, I can relive those moments I missed out on.

P is for Patience. Patience with myself and others. Patience for those so wrapped up in themselves they can't see others. Patience, because I have been there, done it, and don't want to go back to that way of living.

Q is for Quest. When I needed to reconnect to the God of my understanding, I went on a spiritual quest. I figured if I KNEW who God was, I might stop looking for Him/Her. If I am on a spiritual quest, my God is who He/She is revealed to me in today.

R is for Righteousness. Self-righteous people I allowed to keep me from the church, I found what I needed in the fellowships of recovery. I don't always have to be right, but I am entitled to my opinion and have a right to express it. I had to find what was right for me and some of my old ideas, rules and regulations had to go. In today, I am comfortable in church, have no problems with it, in fact it is a good place for people who don't have a recovery program.

T is for Trust. Trust in your God. If He/She sees you to it, He/She will see you through it. Trust your instincts, if you are walking in today with your Higher Power, trust the Good Orderly Direction that comes your way. Believe in yourself, you are in His/Her care when you turn your day over to your Higher Power.
