From Rude Awakening To Spiritual Awakening
"When a need arises for us to admit our powerlessness, we may first look for ways to exert power against it. After exhausting these ways, we begin sharing with others and find hope."

How often when we come across something like this and we think ourselves a failure and we think we should just try a little harder and that we are not doing enough, when in fact we are doing too much. We need to surrender, and say, "I can't do this, I need help." We can go to our group members and share with them, we can get feed back from them. We can then, go to the God of our understanding, and ask for His Good Orderly Direction as to what is good for you. If we have no understanding, I found it was just good to pray, go through the motions, and my God revealed Himself to me. To surrender is to win. When I surrendered and said, "I can't do this, I was empowered to do what I needed to do on a daily basis, onde day at a time." Just for today, I can live in today without using, when I turn my day over to a God of my understanding and I am empowered, with more 'power' than I ever had before. I don't have the power to change anyone, I am powerless over people, places, and things. I have it within me to change me, to learn to live life on life's terms, without having to pick up a drug. Now how good is that! I wanted me some, hope you do too!

Have a good awakening. Take time to get in touch with yourself.
