Even my chiropracter said it, "If I can help you, I can help anyone!"
I was a very sick person when I came into recovery, but people didn't give up on me, and they wouldn't let me give up on myself. In return, I have been able to give that gift back to others.
A long-timer says, the Twelve Steps are a tool of recovery which will fit any nut who walks through the doors of recovery.
The best way for me to get out of "self" the nature of my disease was to help someone else. Without you, there is no me. I needed to be shown, and in turn, by living and walking my talk, I can show that the program works. What kind of message are you carrying today.
Is your recovery believable and do you believe in your recovery?

When I am hurting, it is always good for me to come to the site and read old posts. Sometimes it is my own words coming back at me as a reminder. It is a one day at a time program, and I need to apply it daily.
