Hey there! I'm from the Arlington Group of Narcotics Anonymous in Arlington, Texas. I've been sick with the flu for the last couple of days and have been unable to physically attend meetings... I was surfing around on the Internet to pass the time, and came across this website. I think it's a wonderful idea to use a message board as another form of reaching out to addicts around the world.
My clean date is January 16th, 2005... I'm still pretty new to the program. I'm working on 6 months right now. I've got a wonderful support group, a wonderful sponsor and grandsponsor, and have been through so much change since I picked up my white key tag. It's amazing... finally, when I look in the mirror, I recognize the person standing in front of me. There's a softness in my eyes now that wasn't there when I was using. I'm 19-years-old and have my entire life ahead of me thanks to NA.
Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm excited about finding a new way to share experience, strength and hope!
