I saw a sign in a store years ago that said "In God we trust all others pay cash" God knows what is best for me and I have to trust that. I will trust people until they give me a reason not to. Suspicious is doubt and 2nd guessing and I don't like to do that.......  |

Love the quote! As you say, "I trust until such a time as they give me reason not to." Trust in the AA program got me clean and sober. Through that trust, I re-connected with my God, and as I built a relationship with my Higher Power, I learned to trust myself. My sponsor said, "If you doubt yourself, you are doubting God. When I turn my day over to Him, I have to trust that the Good Orderly Direction is there when I need it. All I have to do is tap into it and pay attention instead of being suspicious and questioning.

Wow! that is really profound! "If you doubt yourself you are doubting God" Thanks for saying that! I don't want to slap God in the face by doubting him!!!

Trust in God, in all your ways acknowledge Him. This program is applicable to all areas of my life. I need to put my life into my God's Care, just not my alcoholism.
