Faith.....
This is such a wonderful topic, I am sorry I couldn't
make it last night..... 
"Honey" and I went to visit friends we have known
for many years. This couple is about the same age
as we are and have been given multiple health
problems for the last 5 years.
SHE, has battled breast cancer, was in remission and
suffered a stroke, losing all use of the right side of
her body.
HE, has been the caretaker and worships the ground
SHE walks on. About 6 months ago, HE was diagnosed
with Lou Gherigs Disease, today HE is in a wheelchair.
HE continues to cook and take care of his wife and the
love I see between them is clearly the power that
keeps them motivated.
Their faith in God, their joy for living and their love
for each other, allows them to get up each day and
do the best they can.
My faith has been renewed, just watching all that they
have had to endure. They are not bitter. They are
not angry. They are simply filled with the understanding
that they may be parting soon, but know they will
be together again in heaven......

 Sg~ Just saw your post, and I can see how you can still be friends with them for all these years, they are a "priceless friendship" is what I call them. Hope that you and Honey enjoyed your day with them. Plus.. I will say a prayer for them too.
