Oh Jo!!!-----they say God never gives you more then you can handle. Well sometimes I think he has too high of an opinion of me! I can barely handle having cancer and taking chemo treatments every d**n week for 16 long nerve wracking weeks!!! I want to fold like a cheap card table! I just keep picking my self up dusting myself off and starting over & over again. If I can do that you can do that!!! It can be done. Not saying it is easy but it can be done! I wish you the best of luck. It is a serious condition and is also disfiguring. I have seen people on tv with it and it is not a pretty sight at all!!! Hope you caught it before it got too advanced!!! Prayers & Hugs-----Bunnypie ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Thank you for your kind words. It is NOT shingles but a heat rash. The doctor prescribed hydrocortisone cream to put on it.

maybe you can put the lotion on and let your new pink fan blow on it to keep it cool and keep the itch down. how is the new fan working out? I hope it is helping you to breath better and stay cool! I am just delighted that you got it on sale! I do love to hear about a good bargain!!!!!-----Bunnypie ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) }

Smiling, it was a day of bargains. Check out my gratitude list. A dress yesterday and one today for only $12.30 and two tops (lilac and lemon green) and a pair for Miss Kitty shorts for $11.99 plus tax. Sales in the grocery store too. Chicken breasts with bone in and skin on for $3.99 a pound, generally around $8.99 and more. Pork on sale for $2.99. It is nice when they have sales when it is after pay day. Things just seem to work out. Breat that was $3.89 in one place was on sale for $2.49 a loaf.
My fan is doing good, it doesn't go too fast and doesn't have a large output, but it is good when I am sitting at the computer. I don't have it for cool or cold, I have it to circulate the air and help me breate. Unless I put ice packs on my feet because of pain, I don't do cold. I want it to be my choice. Even the, I don't have them in cold too long because it will cause a different kind of pain and then I am fighting twice as much pain, so I have to be careful.
Sometimes I have to use the heating pad and at the moment, I have them in my bean bath. I have soy beans in a plastic dish pan. I put socks on my feet, and I do a little tramping and the beans apply pressure to nerve ending in my feet. All nerves for our whole body are in our feet. It is a form of accupressure suggested by Bill at the Hollistic Center. It does help. I sometimes forget about it. I also have a Dr. Scholl's foot bath to soak my feet in, other times I use the bathtub and put my feet under the strong pressure of the nerve ending to help releave pressure. I have been trying to find solutions for a long time.
Each day is a new beginning. I just look for what I need in the moment.

Just for today, I will have an attitude of gratitude. I will apply the program to my pain. I will transform my old thinking into something more positive. ![](https://scontent-ord1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/13775850_1388488277828810_790343444232338203_n.jpg?oh=c4561024ebf1b76abc77accacf58dbaa&oe=58262595)

Wow Jo!---I think you might be onto something. I know when my feet hurt my whole body is miserable! If I walk too much or wear shoes that are too tight I am just miserable!!! I remember reading in a spiritual medium book that your feet have something called "chalk-raws" (don't know how to spell it) and that they are sensors for the whole body so that goes along with what you are saying. I know that soaking my feet and getting a foot massage feel so good when my feet are hurting. My former husband use to soak his feet when he would get home from work (he has to stand on a cement floor all day) and he had a electric foot bath that he would soak his feet in and the water would do jets all over his feet. He would soak his feet while he was sitting in his chair watching tv and after about half hour he would feel so much better. It was like a water massage therapy.------Bunnypie

Don't know about chalkras in the feet, thought the chalkra's started in your lower intestine area. All the nerve ending though are in the feet. My bath has a cord and it can add heat and bubbles. My problem is filling it up and emptying it. I don't have much power in my wrists and hands. Today I bought two cases of 24 bottles of water. They helped me in the store and put them on my walker, when I got home and wanted to take recycle down, I had trouble getting them down. I didn't make it to the closet, they are just sitting in the hall with just enough room for me to get by.

Hey Jo---You might have to use the Alanon slogan "inch by inch any thing is a cinch" Move one bottle at a time to where you want to have them be. YES! it will take longer but you won't mess up your back or the rest of you moving them. It would also be a real test of patience. To do a little at time instead of all at once requires patience!!! Filling and emptying the bath could be done the same way. One cup full at a time. It might be more aggravation but it would get done! I guess it would depend on how much time and patience you have and also how bad you want to have it done. I remember back in the day I wanted to put my 500 record albums onto cassette tapes so I could play them in the car and on my Sony Walkman. It took me (3) three months to get them all recorded and transferred. I did a few each day and eventually I had them all transferred.......Bunnypie

The one is in the closet, just barely in so I can close the door. The other is waiting for my son to show up and do it for me. If I remember rightly they were $1.99 each and I bought them for him to take to work, so he can do the work. He walked by them about 4 times, but they will wait until he has the willingness to move them.

Just for today, I will work my program by living in the moment. It is a one day at a time program, but there are many hours, minutes, and seconds in that 24 hour day. Just for today, I will try to be the best me that I can be in today. ![](http://www.animated-gifs.eu/kids-animals/0040.gif)

Just for today, I will celebrate my life. I had to go through what I went through to get to where I am in today. I am where I am at as a result of decisions made. ![](http://rs271.pbsrc.com/albums/jj140/99alongway/Happy%20Birthday%20Animations/Have%20A%20Nice%20Day%20Animations/HaveANiceDayDuckMail.gif~c200)

Hi Jo---I had another trojan malicious virus come up when I was trying to post here on this site. I am nervous and paranoid. I will have a tech look at it again but I am worried that something is in this site that can make my computer crash. I took a chance coming here to let you know.------Paranoid Bunnypie

You keep repeating yourself, have you had three virus warnings. Where were you posting and what section where you in, and where in that section did it happen. Nothing like scaring all the people away from the site. Lin and I haven't had a problem. I go all over this site and haven't had a problem.

Just for today, I will do what I need to do for my health and well being. I had to come home today because I experience chest pain twice. The first time it felt like my heart was being squeezed and I think it is because I am retaining fluid as my feet and ankles are swollen. Going to go and put the feet up after I go downstairs and check my blood pressure. You have a day and a half Lin. I hope you got to go, sounds interesting. ![](http://www.webweaver.nu/clipart/img/nature/rabbits/bunny.gif)

Just for today, I will smile and say hello, even if he/she is a stranger. I hope to go to my Al-Anon meeting today, I haven't been able to get there for a few weeks. I have been having my meetings by talking to people on FB on two sites:- Courage to Change and Addict's Mom. It is good to share with others. It helps to get out of self. I find it helps with depression and keeps me off the pity pot. Yesterday's post looke barren without a picture, so going to look for a rabbit. Rabbit means fear. I must always remember that fear and faith can't occupy the same space. My meditation card tonight was faith and sign from above. ![](http://media.giphy.com/media/IsWtIz6vDCNIQ/giphy.gif)

JO---I have repeated several times about the malicious trojan virus because I have a desk top computer and it almost crashed because of the virus. The parts of the site that I go to on a regular basis are the coffee shop, chipping away, and shout box. I am trying to get help to determine what part is causing the problem. How very nice for you & Lin that you have not experienced any problems. YES! I am scared rabbit about my computer crashing!!! The time & $ involved in getting it fixed are huge!!! I am taking a chance to let you and anyone else know about it because I think it is important. If you would rather have an ugly surprise like I did on July 31st then so be it aka Amen. I am going to get some more tech. advice today to see if it is my computer or if it is this site. Trying to be considerate. Bunnypie

I am sorry you got a virus from the site. I am not a moderator, I am just another member. I have had viruses many times in the past with my old computer. Since I have been using Avast, they notify me if they find a virus, but it hasn't affected my computer, but it didn't happen here. It was on anothe site, Recovery Inn.
Sometimes with my tremon disorder I click on things by mistake and have had warnings from Avast that the site isn't safe.
All I am asking is to not where you are at on the site when you get the notice. I am not sure it can be fixed otherwise. I will ask him to do a virus scan, but when it is something within a post, I am not sure it can be detected. You can't get the virus unless you open an old post. I don't get a warning about the site itself.

Just for today, I will be honest with myself. I was a little dishonest yesterday by saying I was alright and didn't need to go to the hospital. When I talked to the medical student from my doctor's office this morning, she said I should have gone and if it happens again, go! I have an appointment with my heart specialist on the 8th. So will make a point of letting him know. I know better, I was dressed and ready to go out the door and couldn't bring myself to go. The voice of the intern the last time I went kept running through my head. Why are you here. I said I had chest pain and pain down my arm, otherwise I wouldn't be here. I justified not going because I didn't have arm pain, just my heart doing a thump, thump, just a little too fast. Just for today, I will be honest and not pull on the blanket of denial. If I get pain, I will go to the hospital. ![](http://rs870.pbsrc.com/albums/ab265/weltenbummler1949/Days%20Of%20The%20Week%20And%20Times/Haveagreatday-1.gif~c200)

Hi Jo----A friend of mine had a heart attack when he was driving in his car. He was able to pull aside into a parking lot and they called an ambulance. I hope this isn't a warning that you need to get your heart checked. It might be a good idea to do it anyway and be safe then sorry! I wish you well. I do hope it is nothing serious. Off Topic: My hi tech computer guy changed me from Kaspirsky to Avasti. He said Avasti catches more virus then Kaspirsky does. I am hoping he is right and that it will be safe for me to post on this site again. I definitely want to try.....Bunnypie
