This is a real character building chip. The 4th step says to do a "searching & fearless moral inventory" There are certain movies and tv shows that have a MOS=moral of the story. The Wizard of Oz had a MOS of "there's no place like home" I have my own idea of what is moral for me. It is what is right or wrong for me. I think the 12 steps of AA have some good strong moral values in them.--------Bunnypie

Many people see our disease as moral and not spiritual in nature. For me, it is mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical. I was raised with strong principles but every time I picked up, they seem to slip by the wayside, and a lot got lost along the way. I just had to pick them up again and apply them to my life. It is a very unprincipled world we seem to live in today. Someone on the bus the other day said, "Wouldn't it be nice if people just made their space the best it could be." Not his exact words but my interruptation.

Thanks Jo!----great comment and excellent quote! Dr Bob & Bill W. were a couple of nuts who stood their ground and Thank God they did!!! I am a much more decent and moral person when I am sober then I am when I am drunk!!! The principles of Honesty Open minded and Willing help me to achieve that-----Bunnypie
