I have to be honest and say that I went back and replied to all the back logged chips of the day. I will try my best to keep things current and do the chip every day. I am so glad my computer is working and glad to be back!-----Bunnypie

Nope, never sang karoke in my life. We did sit and stand around the piano with our mom and sing gospel music after dinner when I was growing up. When my sisters and I are in a car together, we have a gospel sing-a-long.

Hey Jo---That is just another version of Karoke. You play a song and sing along with it. Music is a way to bring people together. It can be a live person playing piano or a recorded song with people singing along. I think it was Shakesphere who said "music can soothe the savage beast" LOL I remember seeing cartoons as a kid with a guy in a turban playing a horn in front of a basket and a snake coming up outta the basket to dance to the music!!!! It was a great example of how music could even get a snake dancing!!!-----Bunnypie

I know what it is, I just don't do it. Music has been one of my many connections to my Higher Power. My Higher Power just isn't into rock and roll and most of the music in today. I generally listen to jazz and easy listening, but most of all music without words.

The slogan Live & Let Live is a good one for this conversation........

We all have different tastes, what a boriing world this would be if we all thought the same way. The music industry would suffer if it was just one gendre.
I agree, we can agree to disagree. A gift of the program that keeps on giving.

someone once sent me a spiritual email of people singing in a choir and the line I liked was "All God's children sing in a choir some sing lower & some sing higher" The people in the choir all had different voices (some lower & some higher) .........

Smiling, and me I don't sing at all. The occasions are few and far between. I have been known to walk down the street and start singing a hymn. They are what I was raised on and about the only songs that I know the words to, and not many of them. Don't know the knew ones, just the good old gospel ones I was raised on.
My sisters and I sang as a trio at church when we were growing up.

Elvis started singing in church and so did a lot of black entertainers. I think Tina Turner was one for sure....
