I talked to my sister Laurie on the phone. She surgery done for a cancer lump on the outside of her crotch. I was successfull and she has stitches and will go back in 10 days to have it checked out. They caught it early when she had a pap smear. I was so defensive and worried that cancer is running in the family. I have 3 sisters and 2 of them have had cancer of the crotch and one had a benign tumor removed from her breast. I am the only one who has a malignant tumor that is being treated with chemo & surgery. We do NOT have a good family history and I am very defensive about keeping my 3 sisters informed. I am relaxed to know that Laurie is gonna be okay. We talked for almost an hour on the phone and I am reassured that she is gonna be okay. I went for my 2nd to last chemo (number 15) and they told me they would definitely make sure I have surgery to remove the remainder of the tumor. I heaved a sigh that would put out a bonfire!!! I got this news on the day of MOM'S birthday. My Mom has been dead for 9 years but I feel her spirit was there giving ME the birthday present of knowing that I got a chance to live. I can relax for a while knowing that things are moving along with my cancer recovery. I am still defensive about having a bald head and being sickly looking. Progress NOT perfection.------Bunnypie

Healing prayers for you and yours.
Today is a relaxed day. I got a bit defensive earlier though with my landlord and put in a complaint. Who knows, they say things are the best that they can make them, I expect and want them to do more. I can't complain too much, I pay reasonable rent and don't have to pay hydro.

The majority of my time this chip has me at the relaxed side. I try to take things as they come. Not get defensive and angry about them. That makes me and those around me much happier! LIN
