I try real hard to keep a sense of humor. I believe that laughter is the music of the soul. I try not to be humorless but sometimes it is hard. Today is the anniversary of the death of my brother. He died 19 years ago of cancer. I have cancer and wonder if I am going to be joining him?! I get jokes on the internet and emails. I pass them along to others to enjoy some laughs. I have always loved the quote by Bugs Bunny "don't take life so serious Doc! you'll never get out alive" That is classic humor and words of wisdom!!!-----Bunnypie

What a terrible world this would be if there was no laughter. It is a real gift to be able to laugh at yourself. My humour was a little too sarky and I turned it over to my God for healing. A friend of mind said that he liked his just the way it was and he was more sarky than me. Did you see the salt shaker marked sarcasim. It said, if I remember rightly, I sprinkle a little of this on everything. Not sure that is the right wording, but close.
Tradition Four and Rule 62 says it very well, "Don't take yourself so seriously." I am not sure if there is a d**n in there or not. There should be.
September is not a good month for you with chemo, plus the anniversaries of the passing of your mother and brother. Continued prayers.
