I still have a few more medical appts. this week but NOT today! Today is Randy Bachman's birthday of the band BTO. One of my most favorite songs by them is "taking care of business" It is a good motivational song for me today. I have some chores to do and errands to run so my theme song today will be Taking Care of Business and try to be patient and get things done......Bunnypie  |

A good one, I lost my patience coming home from my group today. I went to the library at the mall and took the long way home because I was sore and didn't want to walk. Some college students were on the bus. At the stop before mine, I said, "Would you guys mind moving down, I have to get off at the next stop." After I spoke a very big woman got up and stood in front of me, she moved when I asked but the other guys didn't and I had to ask again. I lost it, didn't shout, just said, "What part of 'will you please move back don't you guys understand.'" It is not right to take my pain out on others.
It was a good meeting today too. A young girl at her first meeting, one with a month, and another just a few months after having been in and out of the program for several years. I didn't have much patience with myself after I spoke the words. Words once said can't be taken back. They can be amended, but you can't change them, all you can do is hope to not say them again.

Hey JO----I find it hard to be patient with rude people. I understand how you feel. It is a strain on the patience to have to ask multiple times for someone to move out of the way!!!-----Bunnypie
