Wednesday October 19th, 2016 Chip Praise/Criticize

I got a phone call from the hospital that the insurance has dropped me as of October 1st. They said they will NOT accept authorized referrals from the surgeon to over ride it. I asked WHY are they telling me this on Oct. 18th? 17 days after ward? The hospital claims they just found out!!! I am beyond livid!!! I am a week away from surgery and they are making it impossible for it to happen!!! I don't know who to criticize the hospital or the insurance. I have NO praise for either one!!! I have to get surgery to remove the cancer tumors or I will die!!! This is very serious sh*t!!!! I am at a loss as to what to do. I will have to make a million phone calls and try to figure out if someone will cooperate and allow me to have surgery!!!

Well you certain can't praise them and say, "A job well done." Do you have a member of parliament you can go to? How about a clergy or a counselor? You certainly don't need to hear this just day before surgery. God answers knee-mail, hopefully you can get some Good Orderly Direction as to what you can do. Maybe you can sue the people responsible, not sure what you can or not do in the U.S. of A.

I am my own worst critic. I tend to praise others for a job well done and put myself at the bottom of the list. I seldom seem to get there, and I don't give myself much credit. I do praise my God and very grateful that He never gave up on me after I abandoned Him for so many years.

Hi Jo---It is a case of the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing!!! The insurance woman for the surgeon claims that she will explain that I am NOT a new case but a case that has been ongoing for (6) six months now!!!! She is confident that it will still happen on Oct. 25th. She then requested that I buy a special bra that holds tubes and a squeeze bottle in a pocket on the side. I had to go to the cancer boutique and get fitted for it and it cost $75!!! I went into sticker shock and had to put it on my credit card. I will have to wear it for approx. 2 weeks after the surgery so it was a necessary purchase. I thank God that everything is falling into place!!!! I just hate how these medical people scare the crap out of me with the insurance problems. I have been up and down the emotional ladder the last few days!!!!------Emotionally Drained Bunnypie
