I understand that people are excited about the Chicago Cubs baseball team winning a game. There is equality is hoping that they will finally win a championship after 100 years!!! I also have some prejudice when the neighbors shot off fire works for over a half hour when I wanted to get some sleep last night. I think everyone has a right to enjoy them selves but not when it interferes with others trying to enjoy themselves! I go back & forth with equality & prejudice......Bunnypie

A good choice, I equate this with keeping an open mind. Allowing others their space and looking at where they are coming from. I don't have to like it, but in turn I would like the same option granted to me; but then life isn't always fair. I don't do hockey. I had to watch it or go to my room when I was growing up. I have been to football and baseball games and enjoyed them, but for me, they are not TV viewing. I went to a basketball game once to watch my nephew play. I use to play it in school, but hadn't watched a game since I was 16, except for a few Olympic games. If I respect others, I would like to think it was right for them to respect my choices. I watch curling, tennis, and some golf. I use to play darts, my favourite game, but my arthritis got so bad that I couldn't get the dart to the board and if I did, it didn't stick in because I had no power. I went through a major grieving process as a result of it. I had nine trophies for most double out and high double outs. My equality in today is what is good for the gander is good for the goose.

That is over 7 years of my 2nd marriage. He introduced me to the Legion, snooker, and darts. He regretted it because I got so I could beat him regularly in darts. The day I beat him in snooker, he refused to play any more. He said I ruined his game when he taught me darts and wasn't going to allow me to ruin his snooker game. Now I can't play either, I really miss the darts.
